All college employees, including adjunct faculty, are required to complete the following four training modules as a requirement of employment:
Harassment Free Workplace
AED Training
FERPA
Bloodborne Pathogens
Hazardous Chemicals
Drug and Alcohol Awareness
HR will noify all employees when it is time to complete these trainings.
Ethics in Action is also a state-required training. It is not in Blackboard, however.
Instructions for Completing Ethics in Action Training
Ethics in Action as mandated by the governor, every member of the faculty and staff must complete the Ethics in Action program as a condition of employment. The online training is designed to enhance the ability of all TCSG employees to make ethical decisions and maintain the highest standards of ethical behavior. During the first semester of employment, new adjunct faculty members will receive instructions and access codes to complete the Ethics in Action training.
Tip: If possible, complete the training on an ATC campus computer. Fewer problems are reported when this is done. You may use a computer in a campus library, an open computer lab, or an adjunct workroom. The office of human resources on the Athens campus (room K-514) also has a computer that you may use for this purpose.
This training works better if you use the Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer “locks up.”
Congratulations! You have completed Ethics in Action.
(You must click EXIT after you read the Congratulations screen).
