What do we offer?

If you are on the Athens Campus you can bring your students to the library classroom, or we can come to you. We teach on all campuses and career academies.

Instruction sessions may include, but certainly aren't limited to:

  • Demonstration and hands-on use of the library's electronic and/or print resources.
  • Discussion and demonstration of library resources targeted at specific disciplines.
  • An overview of the library's physical layout and general research resources.
  • An online Searching GALILEO lesson that you can link to from your Blackboard course (we can show you how).

Want a library session for your online class?

...or maybe just an online session for your hybrid class! We can do a library session online, using Blackboard Collaborate. The librarian does not need to be an instructor in your course to do this. We can set up the session and send a link for your students to get in.

Or, you can set up the session in your course. Check out our tutorial on how to add a collaborate session to your course.

**We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox for the best Collaborate experience. Note that IE 10 is not supported.
