English 1010/1101: O.W.L. & Galileo

O.W.L. and GALILEO

When you need to find a library resource, you will search O.W.L. or (and) GALILEO. They both give you access to most of the library's resources. Which one you search is really a matter of preference. Two differences:

  • You will find the library's physical holdings (print books, DVDs, etc.) only in O.W.L.
  • If you want to search a single database--maybe you have a subject-specific topic and want to start with a targeted search--then it's best to search GALILEO.
