There may be a difference between resources in your high school GALILEO and Athens Technical College’s GALILEO. If you are using GALILEO at your high school or career academy look at the welcome message at the top right corner of the screen. If it does not say Athens Technical College then click "Log in as another user" and log back in with ATC's GALILEO password. Remember you can find the password in the virtual library services in Blackboard.
To access library resources at home, you must be authenticated as an Athens Technical College student. There are several ways to do this. The first 2 use your single signon. This is exactly the same way that you log into your ATC webmail.
1. Access GALILEO from within Blackboard. You can do this from the library services organization:
When you click on GALILEO you will be prompted to sign in.
2. You can also use your single sign on to log into Primo, our library catalog. From there you can fully access the library's resources:
3. Access GALILEO from the library website and use the GALILEO password (remember the GALILEO password?). If you don't know what the password is, you'll find it in the Blackboard Library Services organization.
As long as you keep your browser window open, you should not have to re-authenticate.
Your password expires after 42 days. It's good practice to set a recurring reminder to change it every 30 days. You change your password from within your ATC e-mail.
Advice: Many login issues can be solved by clearing your cache.
If you are unable to access you email or are having other problems with Blackboard, you can send an IT request by filling out a Student Technology Help form. Don't wait!
