TechShare

ATC Library participates in TechShare. TechShare is a service where you can request library books from other colleges in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Requests in TechShare can be delivered to any TCSG library. 

Who can use TechShare?

Students, Staff, and Faculty at all TCSG colleges

What can be borrowed:

Circulating books only. AV materials and reference books are not available through TechShare.

Loan period:

28 days, with 2 automatic renewals. Requests through TechShare should arrive at your college library in 3-4 business days.

Cost:

No. There are no overdue fines, but you will be charged a replacement cost if you lose or damage a book.

Can the book be recalled?

Yes, and fines may apply if the book is not promptly returned.  

Interlibrary loan

Athens Tech library provides interlibrary loan services for its faculty, staff and students. If you need any material that you can't find in the library, please email your request to Lisbeth Wells-Pratt at lwellspratt@athenstech.edu or use ATC Library's ILL form

UGA

Athens Tech library has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with the University of Georgia libraries. If you are ATC faculty, staff or a student in need of use of the UGA libraries, please come by and fill out an application at your home library and we will direct you to get a UGA library card.
