Formatting your References page

• See 9.43 of the Manual, p. 303
• Begin on a new page after the text of your paper but before any tables, figures and/or appendices
• Label the page "References," capitalized, bold, and centered
• Double space the entire list
• Use a hanging indent*
• Organize references in alphabetical order by the first word of the reference list entry. See 9.44-9.48 for more information and an example
