Introduction to Humanities: Sharing

Introduction

When you are finished with your project, you need to consider how you want your work to be shared with others.

  • Do you want it to be shared at all?
  • If you want it to be shared, what can others do with it?
  • Can they re-use it?
  • Can they share it? For commercial use or only non-commercial?
  • Can they remix it?
  • If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, how do  you want them to give you credit?

Creative commons: the licenses

There are 6 creative commons license options, plus CC0 (CC zero), which dedicates the work to the public domain.

For help choosing a license, follow the steps of the CC chooser.
